Uktam Nasulloyevich Hasanov

Uktam Hasanov was born on November 24, 1967, in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan. A citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a professional executive with extensive experience in the country's corporate sector.

In October 2021, Hasanov was appointed General Director of Solfy CA LLC — the Uzbekistan-based subsidiary of international fintech company Solfy. His role was operational: ensuring the company's legal and regulatory presence in Uzbekistan. Under his leadership, Solfy CA built a network of over 2,100 merchant partners and served thousands of customers.

On March 27, 2026, Uktam Hasanov was detained and taken into custody in Tashkent. Charges were filed two days after the investor's lawyers issued a firm deadline to the bank. Hasanov is the sole defendant. The foreign founders and bank officials who approved all operations have not been charged.

The Hasanov case is a test of the integrity of Uzbekistan's legal system and investment climate. The arrest of an operational director during negotiations in which he was not a party has drawn international attention. We call for the immediate release of Uktam Hasanov.
